Weekly Digest 2/23/17

  • 461

Another week, another Weekly Digest.  We have a couple new giveaways coming tomorrow (2/24) and the release of our very first ARP Status Indicator.  You'll get to see it tomorrow and how it works.  You guys have been bugging us for years to have an easier display for keeping track of daily ARP.  Well, it's here. So you can start complaining about something else now ;).  Anyway, on with the most popular news of the week, brought to you by your fellow AWA members.

VR company Oculus gets a $500 million slap on the wrist

Facebook has to be reconsidering its purchase as it continues to lose money in this venture.

Oxygen Not Included

Oxygen Not Included is a space-colony simulation game. Manage your colonists and help them dig, build and maintain a subterranean asteroid base

Ubisoft wants you to get to know Bolivia before the Ghost Recon Wildlands

A neat mini-game to quench your appetite before the glorious release.

SAMURAI WARRIORS: Spirit of Sanada is coming to the PC on May 23rd

Let the warrior flow through you.  I wonder if an english version will be released.

Contrary to Valve's alleged attempts to make new games visible now they're HARDER to find

See, I think everyone forgot that in Valve's world, everything is upside down.

Another writer of Half-Life and Portal left Valve

Probably just time to move on to something else. But I like making a mountain out of a molehill.

Nice roundup !

Currently i trust klei a lot in making Oxygen Not Included a good game, but again, $20 for an alpha is still risky even though the game looks pretty good currently. While i really like survival  games like this one, i will still wait to see how the game progresses before i make any hasty purchases.

Also is there a way to not feature the pinned articles on this subforum? They are already pinned and people can see them everytime they go in this subforum, so they won't be lost behind other ones. It's not too much of a big deal, but for a week straight, the ARP 4.2 and the weekly digest took like 2 slots on the featured list from what could've been 2 other great unpinned gaming news articles that have their traffic reduced because of that.

ARP 4.2 will come off soon.

The thing is, only featured articles display on /news.  And we want the weekly digest on there.  I'll see though about having it blacklisted from the popular news widget however.

upgraded my heart to a EVGA PSU

Awesome! I love this new weekly feature and the floating ARP indacater is very cool.

Much appreciate it! Yeah no problem on the news section, i was only referring to the Popular News features on the left side. There are only 4 slots for popular articles to be featured and sometimes the pinned threads takes half the space for them.
